Why Traditional End-to-End Encryption Falls Short
Many cloud providers advertise end-to-end or zero-knowledge encryption, yet still retain access to decryption keys. This can create risks.
- Your files may be accessed internally or under legal pressure.
- Anyone with your login credentials may be able to unlock your content.
- Even with 2FA enabled, access can still be bypassed because it is not foolproof.
