Why Traditional End-to-End Encryption Falls Short

Many cloud providers advertise end-to-end or zero-knowledge encryption, yet still retain access to decryption keys. This can create risks.

  • Your files may be accessed internally or under legal pressure.
  • Anyone with your login credentials may be able to unlock your content.
  • Even with 2FA enabled, access can still be bypassed because it is not foolproof.

SSCE solves this: even with your password, encrypted files remain unreadable without your separate personal decryption key.
